Gathering the First DraftARCHANGELS: The RightHand of GodGathering the First Draft
His name is Michael, the first of the host of Heaven. He was the first of the two to be born
out of El's thought before the Universe came to be. Michael was sent to fulfill El's work, the
messenger of his grace. Where God illuminated light, Michael carried it in strings
throughout the four corners. Where El breathed unto the world life everlasting, Michael
tamed it into the four winds. Michael was the first of the archangels, closest to the
counsel of El and the most devoted of his host.

Muse 4It's been days twice counting the calendar that I've been in here,Muse 4
Waiting for a knock on the door to get me out of this dark room. And hearing once too often,
"Sir, you are needed."
I know I have a job having a big slab of an S burned on my chest,
And being faster than a locomotive goes with the job.
Someone sent me here saying,
"This Hell's gotta have a little piece of Heaven, save 'em all the time."
At first I was thankful for being able to fly
and breaking bad guys' faces was all too

Muse 31. The GirlMuse 3
My eyes half dazed, she sank the eight ball
all the way down to my own pair,
in pain already hanging in sacks by the corner of the oaken table. I try hard to end the date,
the dreaded kiss
good night. Maybe I can slip into the cover
of cigarette fog, the silhouette of strangers,
But God have mercy, she notices
every time.
I change taverns but she’s there: pigtails that fill me with thoughts of my dog

Muse 2Before I kiss you goodnight, before I prayMuse 2
sweet Selene
grant you sleep in tides of silver clouds Let me thank your lips for being soft upon my face, Thank your eyes for being so blue,
oceans oceans vast recall in me as I in grace,
swim in your gentle soul Let me thank your hair, auburn strands like ambrosian wine
mellowing my senses with repose Thank your touch, like opium
to my skin
a gracious lull.
Before I bid you farewell in sleep,
before I pray angels you keep sing you lullabies of forgotten dreams &nb
